We are at our hotel in downtown Reykjavik....we walked around the touristy areas and saw some interesting things lol 😆😃

Today we went up 450 meters to the top of this mountain....amazing view though once we got there though...we also were driven in huge 4x4 vehicles and did some serious off roading through deep rivers 😱.... We also ventured into deep cracks in some mountains and get to some large waterfalls 😍.

At our latest hotel, we are having fresh cooked lamb from the farm here...it was SOOO good 😃...and some Skyre for desert...

We are at Svartifoss waterfalls today after our second attempt yesterday...it's quite the hike up to it but it'll be worth it

Night of dancing light

The last two nights we stayed at a small hotel near the glacier lagoon.And just last night the Northern Lights were incredibly intense that you can watch them move 😳😳😳.... I want to live here now 😃 LOL...

Wow this place is beautiful 😳😳😳...spending two nights not far from here and we are returning tomorrow.

We drove to another waterfall but part way up the trail was rained out so we went to a small community store and are sitting with coffee...The NorthFace coat and pants I had bought kept my dry as a bone though😉😃...so here is my group relaxing and drying off..

We are now in the area of Iceland where it's flat black rock and glaciers 😍....and the flat black vulcanic Rock goes forever 😃

Thanksgiving....in Iceland

This is fjaddrargljufur area where there is a huge canyon that was dug out during the last ice age...I walked to the point where one of my photog friend is in the pano shot...it's VERY high and not for anyone with vertigo 😝😳...

Well for the first time in my life I've seen and photographed the Northern Lights...and what better place to capture them then in Iceland 😱😱😱 ....I've got some better shots that I'll post after I return home...

Full day of touring...

 What a busy day of touring 😊....very windy and cold but I was comfy warm in my new gear 😉....anyway this one local which is south east of Iceland called Cape Dyrholaey...here is a pano of it...

We just got back from seeing one spectacular waterfall...it was cold but no wind😃...

Flight into Iceland

So I thought I had posted my flight in but I guess I forgot to save my entry 😖...Anyway the flight was uneventful and tiring since I couldn't really fall asleep so our day driving around sight seeing was long but amazing at the same time...The countryside is beautiful yet bare in most parts...right now I'm relaxing at out country hotel (more like motel)...so far the food has been good...nothing fancy but filling😉...so now we are just relaxing and then heading out to a waterfall nearby around an hour before sunset😊

It's only 1:30 pm here....

And I'm tired from all the sight seeing 😞....the country side is just beautiful though 😍
